Established in 2018, Sekolah Tinta is a STEM model school in Malaysia located in Temasya Niaga Glenmarie, Shah Alam, Selangor. As a private school in Shah Alam that offers the national curriculum, Sekolah Tinta was founded in response to the Malaysia Education Development Plan (PPPM) 2013–2025, which recognises STEM education as a key driver in the nation’s education transformation.

At Sekolah Tinta, learning goes beyond the classroom. Our approach encourages students to explore ideas, think critically, and turn knowledge into meaningful realisation through hands-on learning and enquiry.

Our Process is Divided into Three Implementation Waves

Wave 1
(2013–2015)

Strengthening the quality of STEM education through curriculum enhancement, teacher development, and diverse learning approaches.

Wave 2
(2016–2020)

Building interest and awareness in STEM through campaigns and collaborations with relevant organisations and the wider community.

Wave 3
(2021–2025)

Advancing STEM excellence through the expansion of initiatives and broader educational impact, while fostering stronger learning outcomes.

Sekolah Tinta is part of GAINS Education Group Sdn Bhd, complementing the group’s network of schools by offering the national curriculum with a distinctive STEM-focused approach. Through this approach, students are empowered to strengthen their knowledge, skills, and character development.

Strategically located near residential areas, corporate offices, healthcare facilities, public transportation, and major highways including the Federal Highway, Guthrie Expressway, and KESAS, Sekolah Tinta is easily accessible for families across the Klang Valley.

Housed in a six-storey industrial-themed building with modern facades, the school provides a spacious, clean, and conducive learning environment designed to support creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

Since its establishment, the Sekolah Tinta community has continued to grow, with over 400 students forming a vibrant learning family. The strong partnership between parents, teachers, and support staff plays an important role in nurturing each student’s holistic development.
